Payment Options and Policies:
- We accept credit, debit, cash, money order, or check.
- Online payments offered through: www.trashbilling.com
- Failure to receive a bill does not relieve customer of charges.
- Payment is due on the 1st of every month
- A $5.00 late fee is applied if payment has not been received by 4pm on the 8th of each month.
- Payments mailed in are posted and considered paid on the date they are received.
- A $25.00 fee is applied for returned checks.
- Invalid routing or account information WILL result in returned payments and WILL result in a minimum of $5.00 fee for returned payments. Please verify your banking account information and/or card information prior to submitting your payments to avoid fees for returned payments.
- Returned online payment fees WILL be charged back to the customer. Repeated online payment denials will result in deactivation of the online payment option for your account.
- We enter monthly charges a few days prior to the 1st of the month and send email bills at that time. If you login prior to this, your account may show a zero balance charges are entered. You may make a payment regardless of the balance at the time. We do not apply monthly charges in advance.
- Credit balances on accounts are shown with a negative sign. (I.E. -10.00)
- Payments made online WILL NOT automatically reflect on your online balance. Our system must download and resubmit the information to the website.
Important Automatic Payment Information:
- Auto Pay accounts will be charged on the 1st of the month or the following business day. This applies to ALL auto pay accounts. You cannot select your due date or auto pay date.
- Automated payments are available through www.trashbilling.com.
- Invalid routing or account information WILL result in returned payments and WILL result in a minimum of $5.00 fee for returned payments. Please verify your banking account information and/or card information prior to submitting your payments to avoid fees for returned payments.
- If you receive a new debit or credit card, please update your auto pay information. Any changes, such as the expiration date or security code will result in a denial.
- Emails regarding denials are immediately sent by the system to the customer. We also send a letter to notify you of denials if the information hasn’t been corrected within 48 hours.
- Failure to update information and pay the balance after a denial may result in late fees and disruption in services.
- If you move, it is necessary to notify our office so your auto pay can be terminated. Moving without notice will result in charges still occurring on your account.
- If you currently have a balance and sign up for auto pay, your current balance will NOT be paid at that time. Balances must be paid when signing up for auto pay or your balance will NOT be paid until the 1st of the next month. Failure to do so can result in late fees being charged.
- Credit balances are reflected with a negative sign. (I.E. -10.00) If you have a credit balance, your account will not be charged until the credit has been applied. The system will automatically apply the credit for you towards future balances.
